Everyone at Naked just wanted to say thanks to the great people from Hip Hop in the Park Foundation – for putting on another excellent event. Nicely planned, well executed and afterward, completely tidied up – very professional!
What a cool little place. Small venue with some old world charm of brick and glass brick, board games, crib boards... Saw a jazz band playing tonight and they said the house gives the bands full cover! It's the only time the cafe sells liquor, and they only had beer and wine. Otherwise they have lattes, tea, coffee, soft drinks, soup, panini, cinnamon rolls and a few other items. Small selection but my friend said the Thai soup was really tasty. Will go again!
Great atmosphere. So cozy and quaint. Love the character and friendly staff. Will go back and bring my friends and maybe even my kids to play some games and add some more art for the wall!
It's the perfect place to go with a small group of friends! You can do karaoke and change the music if you ask the owner (nothing inappropriate is allowed, you don't want to bother the other patrons) and there's a ton of board games to choose from. You can also go to just do some studying, they have a bunch of outlets all around the place so you can just plug your laptop in and start working away.
Naked Cafe has always been a place to share and come together to express ourselves and be each others company. Its a true family and will be. Bob is an amazing person. He gives to the community and its always wonderful to see him. The communication that happens in Naked Cafe is serendipity; an exchange of energies and sprouting art forms. Freedom and acceptance of people in one room. A room where love is unconditional.
This place is a fantastic little gem... Great food and drinks (try their floats!), cozy atmosphere, and TONS of programs and events - I most recently attended for a Blues & Fusion dance workshop. My personal favorite part though is all the instruments for live bands, especially the 1-of-only-100 Yamaha Anniversary piano. This cafe needs and deserves more patrons, so check it out!
Really charming locale. Down to earth, friendly staff, and relaxing vibe that makes you want to stay a while longer. Liberal, artsy, and a host and champion of local musicians. I will definitely be back.
An amazing laid back artsy atmosphere. Inspiring live music venue. You can hide in the corner or be social and play some board games and hang out at the coffee bar for lively conversation.
Naked is an Edmonton institution in many ways. The owner, Bob, has run internet cafes in Edmonton since the 90's and is a big supporter of the artistic community.
Amazing place. I've been coming here for years. The owner Bob is extremely friendly, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the food is simply exquisite. 6/5 stars. Come give Bob ur money
This espresso bar is a gem and feels like a small town cafe. It's a welcoming place for great coffee and inviting conversation. There's something for everyone here and all types of people.
Strike up a conversation at the counter, lounge on the couches with a London fog, or use the tables for boardgames or meetings. If you're a gamer or need to print something, there are computers available. There are even live music events throughout the week. Like I said, there's something for everyone.
If you go, make sure you say "Hi" to Bob!
